My hair a conglomeration of hair textures. It is silky, coily curly, textured, oily and my hair strands are fine. This means my hair is easily weighed down by product, but it also looks better when it has some product in it than it does without product. My scalp is also very oily, but oil doesn’t travel well down coily hair. Which means it becomes dry when I’ve worn it curly for very long. My scalp also develops dandruff in the winter because of how oily my hair is.
Over many years and changes to my hair, I have figured out what works well for my natural curls, blown out hair styles and my main hair concerns.
